Hot Dog Buns

4.23.2015

(Only 5 of the 10 buns are shown. The bread on the bottom right is a hamburger bun)

INGREDIENTS
* 1 Cup Water (110 Degrees F)
* 1/3 Cup Sunflower Oil
* 1/4 Cup Sugar
* 2 Tbsp Active Dry Yeast
* 1 tsp Salt
* 1 Egg
* 3 1/3 Cup Bread Flour
* 1/2 Tbsp Butter

DIRECTIONS
Rinse mixing bowl with hot water to warm it up. Add Water, Oil, Sugar, & Yeast. Set timer for 15mins.

After time is up, add Beaten Egg, Salt, & Bread flower (1/2 cup at a time). Whisk till the mixture is too thick, then trade your whisk for a wooden spoon & finish adding the rest of the flour. The dough should be tender.

Move the dough to a floured surface, roll 3/4 inch thick, & cut out a circle with a 4 inch cup. Transfer all 8-10 cut outs onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Turn the sides down & under to overlap, & lay back on parchment paper.

Brush tops of buns with butter, & let them rise in the oven with the light on for 10mins. Then pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees & bake for 10mins.

Freeze the buns you don't use!

ENJOY! :)
