How To Make Money Online

6.02.2015

There are so many people who want to know how to make money online but very few know how to actually succeed in it. So here's a list that I've come up with & I hope they work for you!

1. BLOGGING
So this one is a little obvious. :) Set up a blog, join adsense, then add AD widgets to your website! You'll make more money the more people view your site.

2. SELLING YOUR CRAFTS/DIYS
If you're the crafty type, maybe you should look into selling your projects on Etsy. I love making hand/body sugar scrubs so I decided to open an Etsy store & it's been nice having that extra flow of income. (EX: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ParsonsRoses)

3. SELLING YOUR "JUNK"
It's so easy to collect junk around the house that we really don't need. If you haven't worn that shirt in over a year, maybe it's time to sell it. From clothing to electronics, you can sell your items on Ebay, Vinted, Craigslist, or anywhere else.

4. MAKE A JOB OUT OF YOUR PASSION
Normally people just try to find a job that they could tolerate, but why not be happy, living to work instead of working to live? If you are an artist, sell your art. If you love to work with kids, become a teacher or open a daycare. I personally, really enjoy creating art using photoshop so recently I opened it up to the public. :) It takes over a day to complete 1 drawing!

5. CREATING VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE
This one will most likely take the most work. You'll have to be willing to film, direct, edit, & manage your own videos. Once you sign up for Adsense & join a network, you will begin to make money the more views + engagement you receive.

I hope you found this helpful :) Let me know if you came up with any more ideas!

Mango Fruit Rollups

5.13.2015

INGREDIENTS
*4-5 Champagne Mangos

DIRECTIONS
Start off by lining the cookie sheet with parchment paper. Pre-heat your oven to 175 degrees F.

Dice the mangos, then puree in food processor. Pour puree onto the tray & spread evenly. About 1/8 inch thick. Bake for 3-4 hours depending on your oven. You might want to bake closer to 3 hours though since my batch was a little too crispy.

Once it's done, place a 2nd sheet of parchment paper on top, press down, flip, & remove original parchment paper. Cut into strips, roll, & secure with tape.

ENJOY!

Tortilla Pizza

5.08.2015

INGREDIENTS
*2-3 Fresh Garlic Tortillas (Mine were vegan)
*2 Tbsp Butter
*Organic or Homemade Pizza Sauce
*Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
*Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
*Pepperoni (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cut each tortilla into 4 slices & place on a cookie sheet. Melt the butter in a small sauce pan & brush onto both sides of the tortillas.

Add the pizza Sauce to all but the "crust" of the slices (seen in photos). Then add both cheeses & the pepperoni if you'd like. Cook for 10mins or until cheese is melted.

Fulfilling My 2015 Resolutions

3.02.2015

I wrote 5 New Years resolutions in January & this is how I've been doing in each area:

1. READ THE BIBLE DAILY
I'm proud to say that I've actually been following through with this; although, I have forgotten a few times. I'll read a random chapter, do The Love Dare, or follow along with a devotional.

2. LEARN TO ACTUALLY COOK
I have been cooking like crazy! :) I've learned how to make baked carrot fries, zucchini + squash side, mashed potatoes, Aoli sauce, waffles, pancakes, Pesto Quesadilla, healthy sandwiches, elephant ear bread, garlic bread, banana bread, & fresh hot dog buns! I have developed a new LOVE for cooking.

3. SPEND MORE TIME TEACHING ABIGAIL
I haven't been doing a whole lot in this area, but I'm pretty sure we're about to. I'm almost positive that we'll be getting rid of our cable (or at least reducing it to 50 channels) this month to save money & to remove any temptation I have to binge watch stupid shows instead of being productive. ;)

4. SAVE MORE MONEY
We still haven't been able to save any money due to credit cards & such, but we're working on paying them off so we can Never use them again! The only way we are saving right now is by collecting pocket change & putting it into a jar lol :)

5. BE WHO GOD WANTS ME TO BE
I'm sure I fail in this area every day, but I have been trying extra hard to be the best wife, mother, & daughter I can be. :) I will continue to pray for God's will to be done in my life.

How have you been doing with your resolutions?

Hello, 2015

1.19.2015

Hey, guys! I know I haven't posted since November, but I've been so busy with YouTube lately so I kinda let the blog slip my mind. Happy New Year though! :)

So I'm not too big on New Year's Resolutions, but I'm going to share my personal goals for 2015.

1. READ THE BIBLE DAILY
Like a lot of people, I have my great weeks & my bad weeks (or months) when it comes to making God my #1 priority. I've been reading my Bible every once in a while, but I'd like to make it a daily habit.

2. LEARN TO ACTUALLY COOK
There has only been a handful of times that I've cooked something & was proud of it, so I need to pull out all those dusty recipe books & get to it!

3. SPEND MORE TIME TEACHING ABIGAIL
It's easy for anyone to just turn on the TV & let the Spout channel teach their child shapes & colors, but I'd like to start taking over. Less TV & more books/activities with mommy. :)

4. SAVE MORE MONEY
When Jeremy & I first got married, we didn't really think of saving money at all so it took us a while to get back on our feet. We aren't 100% finance savvy yet, but I'd like to gain more knowledge in the subject this year.

5. BE WHO GOD WANTS ME TO BE
Lastly, & most importantly, I want to be what God wants me to be. & I want to do what He wants me to. I could come up with a list of 100 goals I want to accomplish this year, but if I do it alone, it will all be in vain.

So these are my goals for the new year! :) What are yours?
